General requirements to the textures for visualization

Quality data for further use should include images that are free of artifacts and meet the following requirements:

  1. File format – jpg, jpeg or png (the textures with transparent background png only);

  2.  Color model – RGB;

  3. The minimum image resolution for good visualization is 1000 pixels and more on the large side. It should be noted here that the quality of rendering directly depends on the quality of the texture;

  4. The image should not contain watermarks, logos, etc.;

  1. The image should not contain glare or any other light-and shadow pattern, including signs of vignetting

  1. Distortion of the perspective of the drawing is not allowed.

  1. The image must be highly detailed.

  1. There should be no signs of noise in the image

  2. The presence of chromatic aberrations (color distortions) is not allowed

  1. Compression artifacts are not allowed in the image.

  1. Posterization of the image is not allowed (dividing a monochromatic area by brightness or tones).

  1. Moire is not allowed on the image.

If the clients’ data does not meet the specified parameters, an assessment is required to bring the data into compliance with the requirements.
