Product type LAMINATE, WOOD FLOOR, ENGINEERED WOOD FLOOR, VINYL FLOOR – requirements for textured provided by the client for rendering.

Product type LAMINATE, WOOD FLOOR, ENGINEERED WOOD FLOOR, VINYL FLOOR – requirements for textured provided by the client for rendering.

Quality data for further use should include images that are free of artifacts and meet the following requirements:

General requirements:

  • File format: JPG, JPEG, PNG.

  • Color model: RGB.

  • Image resolution: A minimum value for good visualization is 1000 pixels or more on the longer side. It should be noted that the quality of visualization directly depends on the quality of the texture.

  • Detail: The image should have high levels of detail.

  • No artifacts: The image should be free of noise, distortions, light/shadow patterns, and other defects.

  • No border: There should be no border around the image, including transparent pixels.

It is possible to see the details with the link: General requirements

Special Requirements for Laminate, Hardwood Flooring, Engineered Wood Flooring, Vinyl Flooring:

Pattern Generation with Layouts:

  • The image must have a complete pattern for individual planks/tiles.

  • If no seam is present in the image, it can be automatically generated when creating the layout pattern.

  • If a seam is present (e.g., the product has an uneven edge), the image must be seamlessly repeatable in any direction without visible seams or breaks.

Important

  • The presence or absence of a seam must be specified in the accompanying documentation (e.g., edge_selection = ‘yes’ or ‘no’).

  • If a seam is generated, its RGB color can be defined in the documentation (e.g., edge_color = 227,224,225).

  • Pattern variety: The more variations of planks/tiles with different patterns are provided, the more natural and diverse the final product looks when applied in an interior.

Final Pattern:

  • The final product pattern with a layout must have a fully repeatable design for seamless visualization. The dimensions of the final pattern (‘pattern_width’ and ‘pattern_length’) must be specified in the accompanying documentation.

What to Do If the Data Does Not Meet the Requirements?

If your images do not meet the specified parameters, we can provide an estimate for adjusting the data to comply with the requirements.

Why Is This Important?

Adhering to these requirements ensures high-quality and realistic visualization of your products in interior settings.

Quality data for further use should include images that are free of artifacts and meet the following requirements:

  1. File format – jpg, jpeg or png (the textures with transparent background png only);

  2.  Color model – RGB;

  3. The minimum image resolution for good visualization is 1000 pixels and more on the large side. It should be noted here that the quality of rendering directly depends on the quality of the texture;

  4. The image should be highly detailed;

  5. The image should not contain watermarks, logos, etc.;

  6. To generate patterns with layouts, the image must have a complete pattern for individual planks/tiles without visualizing the joint. If necessary, a joint is generated when creating a layout pattern. It should be pointed out that the more options of planks/tiles with different patterns, the more varied and natural the result of applying the product in the interior will look.

  7. If a product has an uneven edge and a joint is already present in the plank/tile image, then the image must be repeatable and consistent in any direction with no visible joints or breaks

  8. The prepared product pattern with layout should have a completely repeating patten for seamless visualization.

  1. A frame as well as any transparent pixels around the image cannot be used (e.g. the image with a white frame).

If the clients’ data does not meet the specified parameters, an assessment is required to bring the data into compliance with the requirements.
