TILE – requirements for textures provided by the client for visualization
As for the quality criteria for further use, we can categorize them as images that are free from artifacts and meet the following requirements:
File format: JPG, JPEG, PNG.
Color model: RGB.
Image resolution: A minimum value for good visualization is 1000 pixels or more on the longer side. It should be noted that the quality of visualization directly depends on the quality of the texture.
The image should have high levels of detail.
There should be no artifacts in the image (such as noise, blurriness, compression artifacts, etc.). It is possible to see the details with the link: General requirements
To generate patterns without the joint for the TILE products with offsets the image should have a completed pattern for a separate tile. If necessary, the joint is being generated with the offset itself.
If the product has an uneven edge and a joint is already present in the tile image, then the image must be repeatable and consistent in any direction, with no visible joints or breaks.
The image should be completely repetitive both vertically and horizontally. No frame should be used along the perimeter.
In case the client's data does not meet the specified parameters, an estimation is required to bring the data in line with the requirements.
