Shopify implementation

General information

To install a connector in Shopify on your own, here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Create a dev app.

  2. Configure permissions (for the connector, it is recommended to grant the following permissions: write_files, read_files, write_inventory, read_inventory, write_product_feeds, read_product_feeds, write_product_listings, read_product_listings, write_products, read_products, write_script_tags, read_script_tags, write_shipping, read_shipping, write_content, read_content, write_themes, read_themes).

  3. Save (or remember) the following credentials: Admin API access token, API key, and secret key.

  4. Proceed with the actual setup of the connector.

The connector itself is a powerful system for coordinating information. It can also be used to quickly set up data updates if you maintain shared data from a particular manufacturer in your PIM, and they have updates available. You can also receive these updates by configuring two-way synchronization. However, this task is a bit more challenging. Our PIM API includes very flexible capabilities to deliver almost all the information you need.

To independently set up the Shopify Connector, you will need knowledge of the Shopify API, as well as our PIM API documentation to connect the two systems.

However, if you don't have the expertise or prefer not to delve into connector development, you can purchase such a service. Please contact us at sales@wizart.ai for assistance.
