Edit mode - AR Visualizer

General information

Now, the visualizer has gained the ability to edit your own photo! What does editing in the visualizer mean? Let's consider an example:

You upload your photo (please note that pre-marked interiors cannot be edited), apply a product, and realize that the visualizer has slightly misidentified the walls or floor. You're not completely satisfied with the final result. Of course, the visualizer will never be able to perfect the result: poor camera quality, numerous objects, unfavorable photography angles, and many other parameters influence the visualizer's output.

However, with Wizart Visualizer, you now have the option to edit the photo after it has been processed in the visualizer.

Steps to see “Edit mode“

To fully enjoy this functionality, please take a look at the screenshots below.

  1. Upload your photo:



  2. Apply the product:

As you can notice, the visualizer didn't detect the rug placed in the interior and also had trouble identifying the walls in certain areas. As a result, the visualization is good, but the outcome doesn't entirely match what you desire. This is where the functionality comes to your aid – you'll be able to add details that are missing or remove elements where the visualizer provided an inaccurate representation.

  1. Click on the “Edit design“ button:

     

  2. See the “Design mode“:

A brief explanation of the interface: Blue color represents the wall color. Green color represents the floor color. In this case, neither the wall nor the floor colors are satisfactory, which means we will be altering both coverings.

Functionality overview

Let's go through the right side:

  1. Here, you can change the type of covering. Currently, we have "Floor" selected, which means we will be changing the green color. You can also switch to "Wall" (since the neural network was able to identify the walls), and there's also an option for "Ceiling," although there's no ceiling visible in this photograph.

     

  2. Here, you can switch between the "erase" mode (we will use this when removing the green color from the rug) and the "draw" mode (we will use this when covering parts of the wall with blue color that were missed for various reasons).

     

  3. Here, you can change tool size.

     

Result

As you can see, I have completely removed the green color from the rug.

Here's the result you'll get after clicking the "Save" button when not in "Edit design" mode:

Now we will try to add blue color to the wall to indicate that these specific parts need to be included in the visualization.

As you can see, I've added blue color to certain parts of the wall.
