What Does Wizart Technology Do?
Wizart offers advanced digital showroom technology that empowers users to visualize how different wall coverings, floorings, and other materials will look in their rooms. Whether planning a renovation or exploring design ideas, customers can preview their selected products in a photorealistic environment that closely mimics their real space.
At the heart of Wizart’s technology is a combination of computer vision and machine learning algorithms. These algorithms recognize room elements from a photo, such as walls and floors, and apply finishing materials (like wallpaper or flooring) while maintaining accurate perspectives, lighting, and proportions. The result? A true-to-life preview of how materials will look in the room.
This solution is available as a web module or API, making it easy to integrate with e-commerce websites or digital product catalogs. By offering customers the ability to visualize products in their own spaces, Wizart helps businesses convert more visitors into buyers and boosts sales.
How Does It Work?
Wizart’s technology is powered by neural networks—advanced algorithms that learn from vast amounts of data. Our system has been trained on thousands of images of interiors, allowing it to recognize key elements such as walls, floors, and furniture.
As the neural network processes more images, it continuously improves, becoming more accurate at identifying and distinguishing objects within various interior styles. This ongoing learning process enables Wizart’s technology to adapt to new images and environments, improving its performance over time.
Once the neural network has processed an image, multiple algorithms work together to maintain room geometry, shadows, and material scaling, ensuring the visualizations are as photorealistic as possible.
How Accurate is Wizart?
The accuracy of Wizart’s visualizations is continually improving as the system processes more data. Our goal is to achieve "95% precision for the 90% of the most common interiors." This means that for most typical interiors, the visual result will be highly realistic and provide a reliable basis for decision-making.
However, like all computer vision systems, ours may occasionally encounter limitations, especially with unusual interior designs or objects that are unfamiliar to the neural network. This can lead to errors in object recognition or surface mapping, similar to how a human might misinterpret certain visual cues in a photo.
Common Challenges in Visualization
Wizart performs best when working with typical interiors, but some scenarios may present challenges:
Complex or unconventional spaces: Rooms with unusual geometry, such as alcoves, round walls, or layered ceilings, may result in less accurate visualizations.
Textured surfaces: Non-flat surfaces, like brick or textured walls, may be harder to recognize and apply materials to, leading to visual inaccuracies.
Unfamiliar objects: Items like unusual artwork, sculptures, or atypical furniture may confuse the system, resulting in incorrect recognition or surface application.
Low-quality images: Dim lighting, poor angles, or low-resolution images can impact the accuracy of the visualization.
While Wizart’s technology is highly advanced, certain edge cases may still produce subpar results. However, even in these cases, the overall preview is often sufficient to give users a strong sense of how the materials will appear in their space.
How to Improve Results for Atypical Interiors
If your space is particularly unique, there are a few steps you can take to improve results:
Improve lighting: Bright, well-lit photos are easier for the neural network to process accurately.
Adjust your angle: Photographing the room from different angles can help the system better understand the geometry.
Report unsatisfactory results: Wizart includes a “report” feature that allows you to flag suboptimal visualizations. These reports help improve our algorithms and enhance the overall experience.
Integration with Your Systems
Wizart can be integrated with your existing systems within approximately 10 days, depending on your specific requirements. Whether you’re looking to add a simple “Visualize” button to your website or need a fully customized white-label app, we can tailor the solution to your needs. For more complex integrations, such as connecting to your product information management (PIM) system or integrating via our API/SDK, additional time may be required. We work closely with each client to ensure a smooth integration experience.
