Managing Interiors in Wizart PIM
Overview: What is an Interior in Wizart?
In the Wizart environment, an interior refers to a digital representation of a room or space where materials (such as flooring, wall coverings, or ceilings) can be applied and visualized in a realistic setting. Interiors are crucial for giving users a clear idea of how a product will look in a real-world environment.
These interiors are used in both the Visualizer and Visualizer API to apply materials and showcase products to customers. By visualizing materials in context, users can make more informed decisions and get an immersive experience of how products will appear once installed.
Interiors may range from simple room layouts to more complex environments, and they play an important role in enabling accurate and compelling visualizations for product demonstrations.
Predefined Interiors
When a new account is created for a user, Wizart automatically provides 11 predefined interiors. These interiors represent different room types and are shared across accounts to help users quickly get started with the visualizations before uploading their own custom interiors. These can be found in the General Interiors tab.
How to Access Predefined Interiors
Navigate to the Interiors section in your PIM account.
Click on General Interiors to view the list of shared predefined rooms.
Each interior listed includes an Interior UUID, which can be particularly helpful when using the Visualizer API. You can reference these UUIDs in API requests to apply materials and textures for quick testing and initial setups.
Custom Interiors
If you need additional interiors beyond the predefined ones, you can request custom interiors from Wizart's support team.
How to Request Custom Interiors
Reach out to us at support@wizart with your specific needs.
Our data management team will prepare and upload custom interiors tailored to your requirements.
Once processed, your custom interiors will appear in the Custom Interiors tab in Wizart PIM.
Uploaded Interiors and Privacy
When using the Visualizer or Visualizer API, you may upload many interiors directly. However, these uploaded interiors won’t be visible in your Wizart PIM. Here's why:
Uploaded interiors are associated with the specific user session token used during the upload process.
Wizart does not collect personal data, but the interiors are tied to the user session for privacy reasons. Therefore, other users cannot see these interiors unless they have access to the same session token.
If you need access to these interiors or want to retrieve them via the Visualizer API, you must use the session token associated with the user who uploaded the interiors. In the Visualizer application itself, session tokens are managed internally, and end-users won’t have access to view other users’ interiors.
Important Notes
Predefined Interiors are shared across all accounts and help users get started quickly.
Custom Interiors can be requested for more personalized setups.
Interiors uploaded through the Visualizer or API are user-specific and only accessible through the session token associated with the upload.
Wizart maintains a strict privacy protocol, ensuring that only the user who uploaded the interiors can access them.
